DSangue ("the App") is a blood donation companion app for Portuguese donors. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.

1. Data We Collect

The App collects the following information that you provide voluntarily:

• Profile information: name, age, weight, blood type, donor ID, and SNS number.
• Donation history: dates and locations of your blood donations.

All of this data is stored exclusively on your device. It is not transmitted to our servers or any third party. We do not have access to your personal data.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect or access:

• Your location (GPS, Wi-Fi, or cell-based)
• Health or fitness data
• Contacts, photos, or camera
• Microphone or biometric data
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Any data requiring you to create an account or sign in

3. Third-Party Services

Firebase Realtime Database

The App reads public data from Firebase (blood donation events and blood supply status). No personal data is sent to Firebase. Firebase Analytics is disabled.

Google AdMob

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. If you provide consent, AdMob may collect:

• Device advertising identifier (IDFA)
• Device information (model, operating system version)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, taps)
• Approximate location derived from IP address (country/region level)

4. Advertising and Consent

The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage advertising consent in compliance with GDPR and other applicable regulations. When you first open the App, you will be asked for your consent preferences. You can change your advertising preferences at any time through the privacy options available in the App.

If you do not provide consent, no personalised ads will be shown and no advertising identifiers will be collected.

The App contains links to external websites, including:

• FEPODABES (fepodabes.pt) — Portuguese blood donation federation
• Doutor Financas (doutorfinancas.pt) — tax benefit information
• Facebook event pages

These websites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external sites.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 17 years of age. Blood donation in Portugal requires donors to be at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all personal data is stored locally on your device:

• Your data is retained for as long as the App is installed.
• To delete all your data, simply uninstall the App from your device.
• No data remains on any server after deletion, as none was sent to a server.

8. Data Security

Your personal data is stored using the standard iOS application storage mechanisms and is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
